Take Up the Cross and Follow Him

Matthew 16:24-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Push Back with Prayer’s Intercession

Every day at 1500 (3:00 pm) MST we recite this Intercessory Prayer.

Please join us at the designated time and pray.

Prayer for Military Chaplains

Our Father which art in heaven,

We come to you today to pray for our Military Chaplains,

As Paul said in Ephesians 3:14-19, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom is named the whole family in heaven and in earth

That he might grant you according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man,

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith:

That ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all Saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height:

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled with all fullness of God."

We pray our chaplains will be used as God’s instrument in communicating the Gospel in such a manner that many service members and their families will come to faith in Jesus Christ.

We pray our chaplains will be courageous in the presentation of the Gospel during their counseling, worship services, and discipleship and bible study classes.

We pray that they would be a positive influence and godly witness and that they would have a sense of God’s peace in the midst of danger.

We pray for the chaplain’s family; that they might know the comfort, strength, and peace of Jesus Christ.

We pray for the safety of our chaplains and the troops.

In Jesus Christ’s name we pray.

AMEN
