O Father, you who call me to prayer, and who offer yourself to all who seek your face, pour out your Holy Spirit upon me today and deliver me from coldness of heart, a wandering mind, and wrongful desire. By the power of your spirit place within me steadfast love and devotion, so that today I may worship and serve you with all of my life; in Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

Who: Christian Veterans of the Bitterroot

What: Showing the public how to construct a 72 hour kit in coordination with the churches of Ravalli County

When: 10:00 am to 1:00pm, 14 March, 2015

Where: Bitterroot Valley Church of the Nazarene, Neely Center, 150 A Street South, Victor, Montana

Why: To help our neighbors prepare themselves for possible local disasters. “For nation shall rise against nation, and realm against realm, and there shall be famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in divers places.” (Matthew 24:7) “For when they shall say, Peace and safety, then shall come upon them sudden destruction, as the travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.”
